Designing Your Patio Around An Outdoor Refrigerator
If you are designing a patio in the hopes that you will be able to have your friends and family members come over to enjoy getting together outside, it will not be complete until it has an outdoor refrigerator. Do you really want to be running back and forth through the house, grabbing more plates of food and more drinks to carry out to the patio? This adds a whole level of stress and hassle to a family get-together that you just do not need, and the problem can easily be solved with outdoor refrigerators.
While you are designing the patio, it is important to make sure that people can get to the refrigerator easily. Even after dinner, people are going to be going to it frequently to get more things to drink. You should put it up against the house with cabinets on both sides, but make sure that there is nothing in front of it. You do not want to create a corridor between the fridge and the counters since it can become a traffic jam. Make sure that there is plenty of space.
You also want to put lights in and around the refrigerator. You need to remember that people may stay for a long time on a summer night, and you do not want the patio to be dark. Outdoor refrigerators are not useful if they are hard to find. This will also help to make sure that no one trips over the patio furniture on their way to the refrigerator.
If you keep these two things in mind, your patio will be a huge success, and you will be ready for many exciting gatherings with friends and family members.
